Vienna is Austria's capital city and is famed as a city of culture boasting wonderful architecture, art galleries and museums.

Vienna has a fantastic selection of high quality hotels all of which will be in great demand throughout the Euro2008 Tournament. Vienna will also be hosting the final of Euro 2008 so please book early.

Euro 2008 football matches will be hosted at the Vienna's newly upgraded stadium - ERNST-HAPPEL STADION. Recent renovation has increased seating capacity to 50,000. It is located 10 kilometers from Vienna's city centre on the banks of the Danube river and has excellent transport links by subway, bus and rail. Please leave in plenty of time and arrange transportation if it is required for any less able bodied spectators. Please check with your hotel in advance and request that they pre-book a taxi on your behalf to ensure your travel arrangements are secure.
